twenty- OBITUARY MARY E. BROWN all Mary Elizabeth Wallace was born Sullivan County, Indiana, on August 22, 18C6, and died at her home in Tyrone, Mo., March 16, 1941; making her age at time of death, 74 years, 6 months and 22 days. She moved with her parents to Mis souri in early girlhood and lived in Texas County the remainder of her life. In 1887 she was married to J. Brown, and to this union five children were born, Charles, of Grogan, Mo. Virgil, of Kansas City, Kansas Henry, of Tyrone, Mo.; Mrs. Opal Morgan, of Cairo, Mo., and Mrs. Lis- zie Brooks, of Grand view, Wash. She was converted and joined the Baptist church in early life and has lived a consecrated christian life, always taking an active part in church work. She leaves to mourn her loss an aged and devoted husband, the five children, eleven grand children, five srreat grand children, two brothers, J. Vj. Wallace and Geo. Wallace, both of IIouton, Mo.; two sisters, Rhoda Wil-n, in Georgia, and Rosa Brown, of Houston, Mo.; and a host of other rel atires and friends. She made friends of all she met, was a great lover of children and flowers. She wag a devoted wife, a kind and loving mother and a good and always helpful neighbor. Written by one who loved her.
