a chairman was in order Dr John Barnes was chosen and took tbe chair and on motion James Rutherford was chosen Secretary Meeting then proceeded to the election of two delegates to represent Texas county in the State Conven tion at Jefferson City May 31st On motion II Williams Jones John Barnes Nich ol and James Rutherford wore put in nomination Bradford and Campbell were also put in nomination
