Republican, Jan. 30, 1964 Mr. and Mrs. Nolan lette of Ferguson, Mo. and Duke Tweed of Columbia visited Mr.

and Mrs. James Tweed over the weekend. Mrs. D. R.

McCloud visited her sister, Mrs. Lou Skaggs, in Steelville last week. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Akins, Sr.

returned home last Friday. Mrs. Akins had spent two weeks in St. Johns Hospital following a heart attack. Mr.

and Mrs. Clyde Simmons of Eldorado Springs, spent the weekend here with friends. Mr. and Mrs. John Story have returned from a month's visit with her mother and sister in San Bernardino.

Calif. Mrs. Story's mother, Mrs. Ella Bowen returned home with them for a two month visit. Bob Sanders attended a New Holland school of instruction at Rolla Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. David Pfister of Warrensburg, Mo. the past week visiting at the Rolla Pfister, Archie Beale and Mrs. Leora Beale homes.

Mrs. Rolla Pfister has a back injury and is confined to her home. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wallace and Mr.

and Mrs. Roy McKinney and Jerry visited Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Mills, at their LOCALS A airport farm near Summersville, Sunday. Those visiting during the weekend with Mrs.

C. A. Bonnett, who is ill and being cared for at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Coats, were Mr.

and Mrs. Farley Bonnett of Topeka, Kans; First Lieut. and Mrs. Jay B. Meador and two children, who had just returned from a 3 year tour of duty in Germany, Mr.

and Mrs. Dave Padgett, Manhattan, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Meador of Stockton, Mo. and Bob Coats of Ballwin.

Mrs. Audrey Gladden and Mrs. Edith Howerton visited Mr. and Mrs. Mack Gladden in St.

Louis over the weekend. The Rev. and Mrs. Joe Combs and family were among three car loads of young people from the Assembly of God Church that attended a young people's rally at Mansfield on Friday night Jan. 24.

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Brallier flew their Cessua airplane to Vichy Sunday, where Mrs. Brallier received more dual flight instuction. They were accompanied by Douglas Hart.

was a Houston visitor Monday. He was formerly Methodist minister here. John Rastorfer, son of Mr. and Mrs. H.L.

Rastorfer, has returned home after spending several months in Europe. He and Vaughn Skaggs made the trip to Europe and both worked near Stuttgart, Germany. Skaggs is still employed in Germany. Rastorfer left Stuttgart to travel on the Continent, visiting Munich, Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, Lisbon, Madrid, Barcelona, Geneva, London, Copenhagen and many other cities. Kimrey, 76, a lifetime resident of Plato, died Jan. 15 of a heart attack following a few weeks illness. He was married to Sally Groves in 1912. He was a member of the Plato Christian Church and was a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife, Sally, six daughters, Charlene Nester, Hillsville, Cora McQueen and Faye McQuire, Kansas City, Fern McQuire and Mildred Swetnam, Plato, and Betty of the home; five sons, Russell, Paul and Dave, Kansas City and Edd and Perry, Plato.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, at the Plato Christian Church with the Rev. James Smith officiating. Burial was in Stark Cemetery under the direction of the Evans Funeral home of Houston.
