Cashier springs matching innerspring Deaths MRS, MARION COYLE Ester Lela Coyle, daughter of Joseph and Mae Pierce, was born Jan, 9, 1899 in the White Rock community near Houston, making her age at the time of her death 65 years, 10 months and one day.

She was united in marriage to Marion Coyle at Houston on April 17, 1919 and to this union one child was born. Mrs. Coyle had always taken a keen interest in church and civic affairs, She was an active member ofthe First Baptist Church here since March 21, 1915. She worked in the Sunday School in various capacities including about 25 years as superintendent of the Junior Department. She served as teacher or principal inthe Vacation Bible School for many years.

She also served as president of the local Woman's Missionary Union and was a former president of the Texas County Baptist W. M. U. She had been a member ofthe Tuesday Study Club for more than 25 years and was a past president of the club. For many years she was active in the Parent Teacher Association and participated intl the United Fund campaigns and other civic enterprises.

She was a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 41 and held numerous offices, most recently serving as Pan- American chairman, She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Norma Louise Cromer of Kansas City, a sister, Mrs. Iva M. May, Overland, Mo.

and a grandson, Tyrus Coyle Cromer of the U. S. Air Force stationed in Texas. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p. m.

Nov. 12 at the First Baptist Church here by the Rev. D. F. Breazile.

Bur ial was in Pine Lawn Cemetery under direction of the Davis Barber Funeral Home. MRS. BESSE L. HOLT Mrs. Besse L.

Holt, 75-year-I old widely known resident of Houston, died Sunday night at Texas County Memorial Hospital here after suffering a stroke earlier in the day. A semi- invalid for several years Mrs. Holt was a member of the First Christian Church, the Tuesday Study Club and the Eastern Star. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. The body was at the Chapel of the Ozarks, Springfield, until Tuesday noon when wastransferred to the Davis-Barber Funeral Home in Houston.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Christian Church with burial in the Pine Lawn Cemetery, The obituary will be published next week. Bricker shuck corn Friday and and Saturday. Deer hunters have been plentiful the past few days. We don't know how many were lucky. Mrs.

Ozark, Houston, has been decorated with the U.S. Air Force Commendation Medal at Thule AB, Greenland. Sergeant Aldridge was awarded the medal for meritorious service as an information technician, Twelfth Air Force Headquarters at Waco, Tex. The sergeant is a graduate of Houston High School. His wife, Phyllis, is the daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Americo Marchioro of 1224 E. Walton, Spokane, Wash. He is the son of Mrs. Fern Aldridge of Bado Route, Houston.

Henry, local Air Force Recruiting Service Representative, has announced that he recently enlisted Bobby G. son of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil W. McGuire of Lynchburg, Mo.

in the United States Air Force for a period of four years, Immediately after being sworn in as a member of today's USAF Aerospace team, Airman McGuire was assigned to Lackland Air Force Base, Texas for his basic military training. Upon completion of his basic training he will be assigned to an Air Force Base for On-the-job training or to an Air Force Technical School for training in the Administrative area for which he enlisted. Airman McGuire is a graduate of Plato High School. The Air Force recruiting office for this area is located at 213 W. 8th St.

F. Pierce, 1st year. Sherrill Williams, Licking, Undergoes 3 Major Operations Sherrill Williams of Licking entered the University Medical Center in Columbia Tuesday Nov. 3, where he underwent major surgery on Friday Nov. 6, and again on Saturday Nov.

7. On Saturday Nov. 14, he underwent major surgery for the third time when his right leg was amputated between the hip and knee. His condition Tuesdaywas critical. He is the husband of Mrs.

Emma who has worked as caseworker in the local Welfare office here for the past 22 years. Mrs. Williams and a sister Mr. and Mrs. Herman Cotter of Long Beach, Calif, have been with him most of the time.

Other relatives and friends visiting him are Mr. and Mrs. Gus Davison of Springfield, Mr. and Mrs. D.

H. Brown of Licking, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Stapleton of Jefferson City, a sister and husband Mr. and Mrs.

Mr. and Mrs. James Hanna of Illinois spent the weekend here at their farm and did some deer hunting. Carl Crank called at the Everett Frazier and Ernest Pruett homes last Saturday morning. Mr.

and Mrs. Lewis Stinson and son Lewis Jr. of Lincoln, Mo. visited in the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
