Potpourri Crop Plantings Report Due July 15 Conservation Reserve Program is July 15. Persons who have a base established but did not plant a crop can report a zero acreage to protect the history of their crop.

Persons who do not sign a report of acreage before July 15 will lose their crop Texas County farmers should report their crop plantings for 1992 lo establish or maintain crop acreage bases, reports the Texas County office of the U.S. Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service. Surviving are one daughter, Patricia Ann Sawyer of Lincoln, one stepson, William Rariden of Philadelphia, three grandchildren, two step-daughters and five great-grandchildren. Services were July 8 at the United Methodist Church in Houston with the Rev. Cleo Kottwitz officiating. Burial was in the Pine Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home. Wilkie Wilkerson Verl Richard "Wilkie" Wilkerson, 85, son of Samuel and Ada Brown Wilkerson, was bom May 2.

1907, at Covington, Ohio. He died July 5, 1992, at the Willow Care Nursing Home at Willow Springs. He married Martha E. Gann Sept. 20, 1938.

at Pryor.Okla. During World War II he served in die U.S. Army. He was a retired Civil Service employee with the U.S. Postal Service.

The family moved to this area about 25 years ago from Anchorage, Alaska. They lived at Cabool, Mountain Grove and most recently at Houston. Mr. Wilkerson had been in failing health for the last several years and had been a resident at Willow Care. He was a member of Souls Harbor Family Worship al Houston and die American Legion Post at Mountain Grove.

Surviving are his wife. Martha, of the home at Houston; one daughter, Geraldine Ebert of Bethany, one brother, Charles Wilkerson of Tulsa, and four grandchildren. Services were July 7 at Souls Harbor Family Worship with the Rev. Cordie Wimberley and the Rev. Bythel Friend officiating.

Burial was in the Gann Cemetery near Conway under the direction of Elliott-Gentry Funeral Home at Cabool. Charges Filed Following Burglary MEMBERS OF THE Texas County board of equalization will meet Monday to hear taxpayers' gripes. The board is composed of the county commissioners, assessor and the county clerk, who is an ex -officio member. Taxpayers would don't protest until bills come out in the fall will have waited loo long. Taken were 38 cartons of cigarettes and some soda. The men are charged with felony burglary and stealing. Both are held in the Texas County Jail on $30,000 bond. Two men are charged in connection with the early Tuesday burglary of a Raymondville grocery. Texas County Sheriff John Vandivcr said the men, Daniel John Hamill.

33, Lanagan, and Robert A. Heiney, 32, Licking, are alleged lo have broken a window at Raymondville Grocery and Market in downtown Raymondville at Barton Named Deputy County Clerk They had two sons. Mr. Corbelt taught school for four years and lived in Iowa for a time. Most of his life was spent in Texas County, where he retired from Civil Service at Fort Leonard Wood.

He was a deacon at Ozark Baptist Church for 50 years and served in the church as Sunday school director for 30 years. He was assistant Sunday school director and youth leader in Discipleship Training at the time of his death. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth; two sons, Jackie James Corbett and Don Claude Corbett; three brothers and three sisters. Surviving arc three grandchildren. Services were July 3 at the Ozark Baptist Church with the Rev.

Kendall Ford and the Rev. Gordon Rhodes officiating. Burial was in the Ozark Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home of Houston. Brittany Swanson Brittany Nicole Swanson, 3, daughter of Eric Swanson and Tracy Price Cross, was bom April 18. 1989, at Houston.

She died July 3, 1992. at Lester E. Cox Medical Center South in Springfield. She had an aneurysm and had been undergoing tests. She attended the preschool at the United Methodist Church in Houston during the school year.

Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Tracy and Jimmy Cross of Houston; her father, Eric Swanson of Texas; her grandparents, Jim and Vickie Floyd Tony and Debbie Cross and Mary and Jim Swanson of Houston, Betty and Ron Spcagle of Fort Worth, Texas; great-grandparents. Gene and Wanda Floyd, Doug and Dora Staldcr, Bob and Beulah Newell of Houston and Lois Kovar of Meadville, Texas. Services were July 6 at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Lhc Rev. Robert Burkepilc officiating. Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery.

Bill Crowley William Thomas "Bill" Crowley, 79, son of Lewis Crowley and Ora Sutton Crowley, was bom Jan. 21, 1913, in Texas County. He died July 4, 1992, at his home in the Ozark community near Houston. He worked on western ranches as a cowboy and hunting guide and served in the Navy during World War II. He married Irene McKinney May 15, 1943, at Houston.

He worked as a longshoreman in Seattle before moving back to the Ozark community in 1945, where he was a dairy and beef farmer until his death. He was preceded in death by five sisters, Leiha Chambers, Augusta Haughi, Zelta Burch, Ada Dixon and Ida West. Surviving are his wife, Irene, of the home; one daughter, Janet Fraley of Houston; two sisters, Ina West of Houston and Nellie Brick of Rocky Ford, and one grandson. Services were July 7 at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kendall Ford and the Rev.

Gordon Rhodes officiating. Burial was in the Ozark Cemetery. Maurice Cover! Maurice William Covert, 88, son of James H. Covert and Anna Gamer Covert, was bom April 9, 1904. at Houston.

He died July 4, 1992, at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston. He graduated from Houston High School in 1921 and from Washington University Law School in 1925. He practiced law with his father until his father's death in 1926. He married Edyth Marie Cheek in 1927. She preceded him in death in 1947.

Mr. Covert served as prosecuting attorney in Texas County for several terms. After reluming to private practice, he managed the U.S. senate race of Gov. Forrest Donnell Daniel Earp The son of a former Texas Countian, Spc.

Daniel V. Earp, 23, of the U.S. Army died June 3, 1992, in a training accident al his base at Fori Irvin, Calif. He was preceded in death by his father, Mario Earp, a former resident of the Roby area. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Rose, of Mastic N.Y.; three stepchildren; his mother, Sharon Earp of Dayton, Ohio; three sisters, Melinda Bibb and Paula Earp of Rantoul.

111., Tracy Earp of Daylon, Ohio; his grandmother, Lillie Mai Earp of Roby; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Kramberg of Camp Point, III. Services were June 15 at St. Judc's Church at Long Island, N.Y.

Burial with full military honors was at Calverton National Cemetery on Long Island. George Nalley George Forrest Nalley, 65, son of George R. Nalley and Opal Jackson NaJlcy. was bom Oct. 11, 1926, at Woodsfield, Ohio.

He died June 29, 1992. at his home in the Big Piney community. He served 25 years in the U.S. Army and received recognition and numerous awards for construction projects completed around the world during World War II and the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. He retired Feb.

28, 1969, with the rank of sergeant first class. He married Caroline I. Sigler Oct. 30, 1948, at Greenup, Ky. They had four children.

He operated a construction business until about five years ago. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Neal and Gary Nalley. Surviving are his wife, Caroline; three sons, Steven and James Nalley of Waynesville and Keith Nalley of Richland; one daughLcr, Georgette Gray of LaValle, one brother, Keith Nally of Pennsylvania; five sisters, Eileen Whalen of Florida, Pate Frase of Seville, Ohio, Jeannette Mills and Sheila Valentine of Rittman, Ohio, and Kathleen Buckingham of Sterling, Ohio; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial services under the direction of Waynesville Memorial Chapel were July 2 at the Hopewell Baptist Church at Big Piney with the Rev. Marvin Davis officiating.

Gumell Kinserlow Gurnell Kinserlow, 64, son of Bert Kinserlow and Cora Bracken Kinserlow, was bom May 25, 1928, near Raymondville. He died June 30. 1992, at the veterans hospital at Poplar Bluff following a long illness. He served in the Korean conflict, receiving the Purple Heart, Combat Infantry Badge, Bronze Service Star, Korean Service Medal and United Nations Service Medal. He married Fern Massey and spent his lifetime in the Houston area.

He was a member of the sheriffs department for three years and did odd jobs in the community. He was a member of the Baptist church. He was preceded in death by his father, Bert Kinserlow; and a sister, Nellie Huff. Surviving are his wife, Fern, of the home; three sons, David of Houston, Darnell of Licking and Mark of Bucyrus; his mother, Cora Harris of Kansas City; one brother, Ray Kinserlow of Texas; three sisters, Leta Tucker and Shirley Wood of Kansas City and Blanche Huff of Houston; and four grandchildren. Services were July 3 at the Evans Funeral Home Chanel with the Rev.

Wesley Wallace officiating. Burial with full military rites was in the Pine Lawn Cemetery. Jim Corbelt James Andrew Corbett, 83, son of Jim and Laura Corbelt, was bom Oct. 26, 1908, at Houston. He died June 30, 1992, at Houston House in Houston.

He married Elizabeth McKinney Oct. 29, 1992, in Texas County. Jackson who relocated out of state. Reviewed revenues and expenditures for the first six months of the year. -Heard a Lynch Township road Concern from Kenneth Cavaness.
